This Vintage diamond engagement ring is an absolutely breathtaking beauty! Adorning the center of a platinum setting is a stunning 6.29ct old European Cut diamond, exhibiting K-L range color and VS2 clarity. The exquisite stone is claw-prong set and framed by two magnificent Step Cut diamonds that rest on either side. The trapezoid stones are prong set and have a combined carat weight of approximately 1.32ctw, with J-K range color and VS1 clarity. The diamonds display a fantastic sparkling array, catching the light perfectly with every turn. Completing the design is a smoothly polished platinum band that tapers slightly from back to front, and a bold airline cutout design is visible from the sides. Stamped inside of the shank is a "PLAT" purity mark next to a maker's mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in June 2019, and has a stated retail replacement value of $95,000.00. When worn, the ring is positively radiant, delivering a spectacular sparkle. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could be easily be resized. The diamond centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" wide and 1/2" tall, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures 2.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All three diamonds are intact and securely set.
