A truly exceptional diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This incredible ring is made of platinum and holds a stunning 3.07ct diamond at the center of a halo-style setting. The prong-set center diamond is an Old European cut and has L color and SI1 clarity. The circular halo surrounding it is encrusted with a row of bead set diamonds, giving the top of the ring an incredible sparkle. Each shoulder of the ring has a delicate chevron cutout and a row of diamonds that line the top. The gallery of the ring displays a beautiful and feminine filigree wirework design, and delicate milgrain detail surrounding the diamonds completes the gorgeous design. The platinum band is fairly thin and the inside is lightly engraved with a set of numbers. The ring was appraised in August 2014 by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $31,000.00. A breathtaking piece, the ring looks exquisite when worn and would make an outstanding engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact.
