This wonderful sterling silver bracelet is from the early Art Deco era! Dating back to between approximately 1910-1920, the stylish design is comprised of alternating moonstone and sterling links. The moonstone cabochons graduate in size, and each sterling link is engraved with a shapely Art Deco motif. The moonstones have an alluring natural appearance, with a lovely pale blue flash and translucent properties. Hinged connectors fasten each link together, forming a straight but flexible bracelet that wraps comfortably around the wrist when worn. The bracelet closes with a push clasp disguised within one of the engraved links, and a safety chain provides additional security when worn. This stylish piece would make a beautiful everyday accessory, and is perfect for the vintage collector!
Measurements: The bracelet measure approximately 6 1/2 " long and would fit nicely on a small to average sized wrist. The engraved sterling links are 1/2" wide and 5/8" tall. The moonstone links vary in size, with the largest center link measuring 1/2" wide, 5/8" tall, and 3/8" thick. The smallest moonstone link has a 3/8" diameter and measures 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the moonstone cabochons, all of which are intact. The clasp fastens securely and in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver setting, which is normal for vintage jewelry and adds to its beauty and unique character.
