A simply gorgeous Alberts & Bick Inc. bloodstone ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 10k rosy gold, this ring features a navette-style centerpiece, which features a bezel-set piece of bloodstone. The bloodstone is wonderful, display a deep green hue and red speckling. The shoulders of the ring feature a blooming floral-motif design, and a marquise-shaped cutout. The floral-motifs are decorated with texturizing engravings. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a juxtaposed horseshoe and nail hallmark. A true example of Victorian-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a dainty addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 4.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.5mm, and the centerpiece has a height of 3/8" and a width of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the bloodstone is intact and securely set.
