Art Deco 14k White Gold Diamond and Carved Rock Quartz Filigree Pendant

A beautiful rock quartz crystal pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Set in 14k white gold, this lovely piece is comprised of a large rock quartz crystal plaque with a single diamond set in the center. The rock quartz crystal has a hand carved design on the back, which shows through to the front as a subtle starburst inspired design. The crystal is surrounded by a white gold frame which is beautifully ornate and detailed with very fine filigree wirework, displaying a lovely floral motif. The diamond rests within a diamond-shaped box setting that is riveted into the center of the plaque and the pendant hangs from a complimentary milgrained filigree bail. The craftsmanship is spectacular and compliments the pendant perfectly. This exceptional pendant could be worn everyday, and would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 5/8" long, is 3/4" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, the rock quartz crystal or filigree wirework and the diamond is intact.
