Art Deco 14k White, Yellow, and Rose Gold Amethyst Filagree Floral Cocktail Ring

A gorgeous amethyst ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Made of 14kt white gold, with yellow and rose gold detailing, the ring has an intricate filigree design with a flowing feminine motif. At the center is a beautiful amethyst gemstone, which is rectangular in shape and beautifully faceted. The amethyst is bezel set within an open backed setting, and displays a luscious natural purple color. Delicate floral accents are interspersed throughout the web-like filigree design, which has a lacy appearance comprised of shapely cutouts. Fine milgrain and elegant hand engraved details add further beauty to the graceful design. The tapered band is smooth in the back, and is stamped with a "14K" purity mark and a "W" maker's mark inside the shank. This gorgeous cocktail ring would make a beautiful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 6.5, but could be easily resized. The amethyst stone and its surrounding setting measures 1/2" tall, 1/2" wide, and rests 3/8" high. The tapered band measures 2mm wide at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold, or yellow and rose gold details. The amethyst stone is intact, securely set, and free of any visible chips or surface scratches.
