A lovely jade pin from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous piece is made of a single oval shaped plaque of jade which has a hand carved design incorporating a single bird and cherry blossom flowers. The jade plaque is wonderfully detailed and is surrounded by a border of natural seed pearls. The pin is set in an ornate 14kt yellow gold frame that has an inlaid burnt orange enameling and 4 green enameled flowers in the corners. The color of the jade paired with the pearls and enameling look absolutely stunning together. On the back of the piece is a secure pin clasp which is marked "14K". It's a wonderful piece and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin measures 1 5/8" wide, is a little more than 1" tall and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the jade, enameled details or to the gold setting. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
