Art Deco 14kt Pink Sapphire + Enameled Filigree Ring

A simply beautiful synthetic pink sapphire and enamel ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold with yellow gold accents, this lovely piece features a single pink sapphire bezel set within a rectangular shaped frame. The faceted synthetic sapphire has vibrant pink color and an open back setting which allows the facets to beautifully catch the light with every turn. Framing the stone is a wonderful geometric design of black and red enameling which is accented by yellow gold overlay along the surface. Completing the design is beautiful filigree wirework along the sides and down the shoulders of the ring. This fabulous Art Deco ring would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!

Measurements: The face of the ring measures a little more than 1/2” tall, approximately 1/2” wide, and sits 1/4" above your finger when worn. The ring has a finger size 5.5, but could easily be re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the synthetic pink sapphire stone, which is intact. There is some normal surface wear, including a few small chips, in the enameling which isn't unusual for a piece from this age.
