Art Nouveau 18kt Yellow Gold Banded Agate Heart Ring

A stunning gold and agate ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1905) era! This English ring, which is made of 18kt yellow gold, has a hand carved heart shaped agate plaque resting in the center. The banded agate has a white surface and from the sides you can see a stripe of orange. On each side of the heart is simple carved design which carries on the shoulders of the band. The shank has several English hallmarks: "RBSR",  a crown, "18", an anchor, and "C". This fabulous ring would make a beautiful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The agate heart measures 3/8" tall and wide. The ring has a finger size 7.75, but could easily be re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold set and only a few very minor chips in the agate.
