A gorgeous diamond cluster ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely ring is crafted in 14k gold and topped in sterling and features a stunning, chubby, sparkling diamond centerpiece. The center rose cut diamond weighs approximately 2.15ct in a closed back setting, with an estimated G/H color and SI1 clarity. Surrounding the center stone is a border of 15 rose cut diamonds that form a beautiful halo, weighing approximately 0.50ctw combined, and two small rose cuts decorate the shoulder in silver bead settings, weighing approximately 0.10ctw combined. The center stone is suspended in a raised prong setting, while the bordering stones are shared prong set. Completing the design is a wonderfully detailed band that keeps its width towards the shank. The shank of the ring has a gold purity mark of 585 and an indistinguishable hallmark. When worn, it makes a magnificent statement piece that would look perfect worn on special occasions, or as a special antique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 8.5, but could be resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the rose cut diamonds are intact and securely set.
