A gorgeous English diamond ring from the Georgian (ca1750s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and sterling silver, this ring features a 1.60ct rose cut diamond, which is held within an eight-prong setting. The diamond is wonderfully faceted, and displays I/J color and SI1 clarity. The diamond is complemented on both sides by an additional rose cut diamond. The smaller diamonds are held within four-prong settings, and have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw. Each shoulder of the ring features delicate engravings, which give the piece a banded-design. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A breathtaking example of Georgian-era craftsmanship, this piece would make a one-of-a-kind engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold/sterling silver mounting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact.
