A stunning sapphire ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Made of vibrant 14kt gold and platinum, this lovely piece holds a beautiful star sapphire cabochon in the center. The bezel set stone weighs approximately 15ctw+ and displays a wonderful gray-blue color. In the center, is a star that is faint but can be seen when it catches the light. Completing the design is an exceptional frame decorated with a bold motif, and each shoulder is graced with an elegant wire adornment. The shank tapers in the back and stamped with "14k" on the inside along with a small hallmark symbol. This spectacular piece is perfect for anyone looking for a substantial star sapphire!
