A fabulous and bold Vintage moonstone and diamond ring from the 1970s era! This eye catching piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and adorns a gorgeous moonstone cabochon at the center. The translucent moonstone rests in an open backed bezel setting, which allows the light to pass through, creating soft blue iridescent flashes. Flanking the stone are tiered chevron shaped shoulders, each one lined with calibrated Baguette Cut diamonds, weighing approximately 1.50ctw combined. The sparkling stones catch the light beautifully with every turn, creating a radiant and unique setting that perfectly frames the high set moonstone. Two additional accent diamonds rest at the top and bottom of the cabochon, creating a wonderful finishing touch. A smoothly polished knife edge style band graduates slightly towards the back, and stamped inside of the shank is a "14K" gold purity mark beside a "ZJ" maker's mark. A stunning ring, it would look faboulous worn on special occasions or could make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8 but could be resized. The centerpiece measures about 5/8" tall, and rests approximately 3/8" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures about 4mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
